Terms of Use

The terms on which the In Practice® Series is made available.

Last updated: 2 October 2026

1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of the In Practice® Series website and the learning programmes made available through it. The In Practice® Series is published by the Pensions Training Company. By using the site you agree to these terms.

2. Copyright, trade marks and branding

In Practice® is a registered trade mark of the Pensions Training Company. The In Practice® Series, the PTC name and branding, and all associated logos and programme materials are also protected by copyright (© Pensions Training Company) in addition to trade mark protection. Nothing in the site grants any licence to use the In Practice® or PTC names, branding or materials without permission.

3. Intellectual property

All programme content, learning materials, text, imagery and branding on this site are protected by copyright and applicable intellectual property laws. Unauthorised reproduction, distribution or commercial use is prohibited. You may use programme materials for your own professional learning in line with the access arrangements for each programme.

4. Access to programmes

Some In Practice® programmes are freely available and others require registration or are made available through specific access arrangements. Each programme page sets out how it is accessed. We may change, withdraw or update programmes and their availability from time to time.

5. No accreditation or endorsement

The In Practice® Series provides professional learning. Completion of a programme does not by itself constitute a regulated qualification, statutory accreditation or regulatory approval, unless this is expressly stated for a specific programme. External resources reached from this site are published by their own organisations.

6. External links

Programme destinations link to external sites operated by the Pensions Training Company or its partners. We are not responsible for the content of third-party websites beyond the programmes we publish.

7. Acceptable use

You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to restricted programmes, disrupt the operation of the site, or use programme materials in a way that misrepresents your professional status or the source of the materials.

8. Liability

The site and its programmes are provided for professional learning. While we take care to keep content accurate and current, we cannot guarantee that it reflects the most up-to-date legal or regulatory position, and it should not be relied upon as professional advice for a specific matter. We are not liable for losses arising from reliance on programme content, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Questions about these terms can be raised through the Enquiries and Feedback page.
